Product Description

The channel magnet is composed of neodymium magnets wrapped in a steel channel, which greatly enhances the protective force of the magnet when in direct contact with the corresponding object, protecting fragile magnets from repeated impact and damage. It has a thick coating that can prevent corrosion. The maximum pulling force of the magnet is 5-80kg, and the length is 15-120mm. Due to the existing countersunk holes, you can use countersunk screws to securely fix the channel magnets onto a suitable surface, and they can also be easily inserted into the grooves. Neodymium magnets have strong magnetism. The maximum magnetic force comes from the vertical direction. The placement surface needs to be clean and flat, otherwise it will reduce its magnetic force.

Q1: Can I place the magnets nearby cellphone or other electronic products?

A: It is no problem for for the magnet in small size such as D8x1mm. But for bigger one such as D50x30mm, we do not suggest you to place the magnets nearby the cellphone. Please be cautious that keep all magnets far away from pacemaker!


Q2: Do you have finished magnets in stock?

A: There are too many specifications of magnets. Different customers needs different grades, sizes, shapes, magnetization orientation, plating, tolerance. So we often make the quantity as customer ordered. For the long-terms customers who frequently buy the same magnets from us, we may have some in stock. Please contact us if you want to know what we have in stock.


Q3: What is the max. and min. size of magnet you can make?

A: We can make the magnet in size from 1x1x0.5mm to 200x100x60mm in block shape and from D1x1mm to D200x50mm for disc magnets. Our sales guy is ready to provide you size details if you need.


Q4: Could magnets be delivered by air for urgent demand?

A: Magnetic shield is necessary for the magnets to be delivered by air. We will put iron plates inside the carton to shield the magnetic force. So you need to inform us if the magnets are delivered by air.


Q5: Is surface treatment necessary for neodymium magnets?

A: The composition of neodymium magnets is mainly neodymium, Iron and boron. The percentage of iron is up to 60%. So it is easy for neodymium magnets to get rusty. The normal plating of neodymium magnets is Zinc, NiCuNi, Epoxy etc. Zinc plating works in dry and clean condition. NiCuNi and Epoxy could be used in humid or bad working condition.


Q6: How to choose the grade of neodymium magnets?
A: The magnetic properties of neodymium magnets could be reduced in the working temperature that exceeds the magnet could stand. So working temperature is a very important factor to decide the grade of neodymium magnets. For example, if the magnets work in the temperature of 110 degrees, you need to buy neodymium magnets at least in H grade.  If the working temperature of magnet exceeds 200 degrees, SmCo magnets or AlNiCo magnets is the best solution.
Br is another factor you need to take into consideration. Higher Br is necessary if you need very powerful magnet. We are always glad to give you professional suggestions about how to choose the grade of magnets
