Product Introduction
What exactly are neodymium magnets? They are made from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron, and are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently available. This makes them ideal for use in small motors where space is limited but high performance is still required.
Neodymium magnets have a number of advantages over other types of magnets, including:
Higher magnetic field strength
Higher resistance to demagnetization
Lower cost per unit volume
These properties make neodymium magnets the perfect choice for applications where weight and size are important factors, such as in portable audio devices and automotive audio systems.
Product Advantage
Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available and are used in a wide variety of applications, including automobile industry, consumer electronics, industrial motor, household electrical appliances, energy-saving elevator, wind turbine generator. Neodymium magnets have a number of advantages over other types of magnets, including:
1. Higher magnetic strength. Neodymium magnets have a higher magnetic field strength than any other type of magnet. This allows them to generate a stronger force, which is useful for applications like electric motors where high torque is required.
2. Compact size. Neodymium magnets are much smaller and lighter than other types of magnets with comparable magnetic strength. This makes them ideal for applications where space is limited, such as in portable electronic devices.
3. Cost-effective. Neodymium magnets are more cost-effective than other types of magnets, making them a popular choice for a wide range of applications.
Product Operate Guide
To get the most out of your neodymium magnet, it is important to follow these operating instructions:
1) Do not expose the magnet to temperatures above 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit), as this can damage the magnetic properties.
2) Do not allow the magnet to come into contact with iron or steel, as this can also damage the magnetic properties. If necessary, coat the magnet with a thin layer of protective material such as zinc or nickel.
3) Do not allow two magnets to come into close proximity with each other, as they can become attracted to each other and potentially cause damage.
FAQ
Can I place the magnets nearby cellphone or other electronic products?
It is no problem for for the magnet in small size such as D8x1mm. But for bigger one such as D50x30mm, we do not suggest you to place the magnets nearby the cellphone. Please be cautious that keep all magnets far away from pacemaker!
Do you have finished magnets in stock?
There are too many specifications of magnets. Different customers needs different grades, sizes, shapes, magnetization orientation, plating, tolerance. So we often make the quantity as customer ordered. For the long-terms customers who frequently buy the same magnets from us, we may have some in stock. Please contact us if you want to know what we have in stock.
What is the max. and min. size of magnet you can make?
We can make the magnet in size from 1x1x0.5mm to 200x100x60mm in block shape and from D1x1mm to D200x50mm for disc magnets. Our sales guy is ready to provide you size details if you need.
Could magnets be delivered by air for urgent demand?
Magnetic shield is necessary for the magnets to be delivered by air. We will put iron plates inside the carton to shield the magnetic force. So you need to inform us if the magnets are delivered by air.
Is surface treatment necessary for neodymium magnets?
The composition of neodymium magnets is mainly neodymium, Iron and boron. The percentage of iron is up to 60%. So it is easy for neodymium magnets to get rusty. The normal plating of neodymium magnets is Zinc, NiCuNi, Epoxy etc. Zinc plating works in dry and clean condition. NiCuNi and Epoxy could be used in humid or bad working condition.
How to choose the grade of neodymium magnets?
The magnetic properties of neodymium magnets could be reduced in the working temperature that exceeds the magnet could stand. So working temperature is a very important factor to decide the grade of neodymium magnets. For example, if the magnets work in the temperature of 110 degrees, you need to buy neodymium magnets at least in H grade. If the working temperature of magnet exceeds 200 degrees, SmCo magnets or AlNiCo magnets is the best solution.
Br is another factor you need to take into consideration. Higher Br is necessary if you need very powerful magnet. We are always glad to give you professional suggestions about how to choose the grade of magnet
